The Edelweißalm, our self-catering hut on the Großglockner, is located at 1,540 m above sea level. Here you can experience a somewhat different holiday right at the foot of the Grossglockner massif at the end of the Käfertal valley. The ideal location of our holiday home in the Grossglockner National Park is perfect for leisurely walks through the forest, challenging alpine hikes and challenging mountain tours in high alpine terrain. Let yourself be inspired by the primeval life with attached barbecue hut!
EQUIPMENT AND ALM OPERATION
In our self-catering hut on the Großglockner there is enough space for nine people. The sleeping accommodations are divided into three double rooms and three beds in the attic. Each floor has a shower and toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor and an eat-in kitchen on the upper floor. Dogs are allowed. The hut is directly connected to the alpine farm right next to it. You enjoy all the advantages of alpine life, including daily fresh cow’s milk. Next to the Edelweißalm is our brand new barbecue hut. Here you can have a barbecue in any weather and be among yourselves – a dream for every holiday.
KEY DATA OF THE HOLIDAY HOUSE AM GROSSGLOCKNER
- Cabin price per week: € 1000 (water and electricity included) plus tourist tax (municipal tax, per person and day)
- Final cleaning: € 75,-
- Bed linen, towels and tea towels are to be brought along! Bed linen can be provided on request at a price of €12 per week and person.
- On the day of arrival you can move into the hut from around 3 p.m., on the day of departure the hut should be vacated by 9 a.m. We rent on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday.
- On request, weekend bookings to get to know each other are possible from May 1st, price € 500 (Friday to Sunday).
